The Palace Station Hotel & Casino has been recently renovated and is ideally located for the event as it is less than five minutes from both the tournament location (Las Vegas Roller Hockey) and the heart of the Strip........whatever your destination may be at the time. For those interested, I've attached some information about the hotel/casino.
Our travel agent is working on a secondary location more centrally located on The Strip (likely the Excalbur), but the rates will be a great deal more expensive even with the tournament discount.
If you are interested in booking a different location, please feel free to contact our travel agent as it is my understanding that he is also working on a few discounted packages for those interested.
BOOKING - PLEASE BOOK DIRECTLY THRU OUR EVENT TRAVEL AGENT TO SECURE THE EVENT DISCOUNTS. Info as follows:

6. Partial Team/Individual Player Interest
We have been contacted by a number groups and individuals looking to participate in the event. As always, ALL are welcome and we will do our best in an effort to make sure everyone interested has a chance to participate. That said, groups/individuals/teams needing plkayers should contact me immediately for assistance.
Conclusion
Since it inception in 2005, the Sin City Shootout Street Hockey Tournament has rapidly grown into one of the most anticipated events of the year. Deep down we know it is the location that makes the event special, though we'd still like to think that we put on a pretty decent event that everyone enjoys. With the two weekend format and new divisions this time out, we expect to see continued growth in participation. We realize the two weekend format may have hindered a few groups and we apologize for that, but it was the only reasonable option we had to cater to the growing interest level in the event. The good news is that there are rumors abound that the facility owner may be moving into a 3-rink facility for 2010, which would bring the event back to its original 1-weekend format. In the meantime, we'll do our best to accommodate those interested in making the trip this time out.
As with last February's event, we have secured the services of Fine Designs, Inc. to provide onsite services for tournament-specific apparel. We have a few other bells and whistled in the works, but we'll save that info for the next update on the event.
I hope this finds you and yours well. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the event.
Warmest regards,
Terry Cox

2. Host Hotel & Booking
We have spent a great deal of time in our attempt to find the most pleasant lodging at the most reasonable rates. At long last, we have secured the Palace Station Hotel & Casino as our primary host hotel, with our travel agent in the process of securing a secondary hotel/casino more centrally located on the Strip (discounted rates will still be far more expensive than our primary facility).
